coloring fun

This is a fun super easy way to recycle old crayons, you know those stubs that you throw away...
find your muffin tins, I have some that shape like trees, easter eggs, stars, ext. but the ones that work really well are the mini muffin tins.

Now that you have the muffin tin that you want to use set your oven to about 250, or warm if you can.. the crayons just have to melt,

Take all the paper off of the crayons and break them up to fit into the pan.

Put like colors together, like teal and blue and or yellow and peach, or red and pink stick the stubs in the oven for about 10 min. but cheek on it every 5 min.time will depends on how hot your oven is

let it cool, then take them out, they shouldn't stick if they are cool enough, if they are stuck put the pan in the freezer until they are able to come out.

(Side note, I made these for a birthday present for a 5 year old, she loved it. I used the crayons that were on sale during the back to school season with full packages. to make one big one I used about 2 boxes of 12 ct.)
