Nursing Homes

I love putting a smile on any one's face, Our Neighborhood nursing home is always looking for volunteers to visit, so my 2 yr old daughter and I will visit when we can. While talking to the Director she mentioned things that the residents can always use. this is a very general list, that is applicable to most nursing homes.

Items:
oral care: tooth paste, tooth brushes, floss, exc.
Personal Care: deodarant, razors, body mist/spray, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, hair styling products, hair brush, hair pick, hair accesories,  (you get the idea, anything you use in the bathroom they can use.)
other things the residents of a nursing home could use would be Depends, and some snack food items such as: chips, pre popped chips or rice cakes, crackers and sugar free hard candy.

Call your local nursing home for items they are in need off, you might just make some one smile!

It has also been my experience that the staff at nursing homes loves treats anytime, so bake away!
