Make a Mix: Cookie Mix





I gotta say that I love mixes, they are so handy to have on hand and fast, and the best part is that when you make the mixes yourself you save a ton of money, So here is my yummy cookie mix to help save you money. I keep all my mixes in a rubbermaid container (the 18-21 cup canisters)

I love making bars like these yummy things,

Here is the recipe for the mix and for two of the cookies i always make:

cookie mix


8 cups flour
2 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar
4 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda



Chocolate chip cookies


3 cups cookie mix
3 table spoons of milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg 1/2 cup nuts
1 cup chocolate chips or your fav chips mine is pb and chocolate from Toll House
3/4 cups oil
 If the mix is dry, use another T of milk or some apple sauce to make the mix moist 
(Pre heat 375, mix in all ingredients, back for 10 min. makes 24 cookies or make them into bars bake for about 20 min. Frosting is optional!


Peanut butter cookies


3 cups cookie mix
1/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cups oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 cup peanut butter

Variation: pb &jelly thumbprint cookies, just use jelly on the top
mix all ingredients shape dough in 1 inch balls, flatten with fork (criss cross) bake 10 min.
